(VOVworld) – South Korea’s Yonhap news agency quoted a government source as saying that there was high possibility that North Korea had tested its 5^th nuclear warhead.

Yonhap said an earthquake registering a five on the Richter scale was recorded on September 9 at the site where North Korea conducted its 4^th nuclear test in January.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said they were investigating the matter.

The US Geological Survey, USGS, also reported a possible explosion of magnitude 5.3 occurred in North Korea on September 9. This seismic event had explosion-like characteristics and occurred where North Korea has detonated nuclear explosions in the past.
