South Korea, US seek solution to North Korea’s nuclear ambition
(VOVWORLD) - US President Donald Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in will discuss North Korea’s nuclear program at a meeting in Washington later this month, senior officials from the two countries said on Wednesday.

US Under Secretary of State Thomas Shannon and South Korea’s Vice Foreign Minister Lim Sung-nam met this week to discuss details of the first meeting between Trump and Moon, scheduled to take place on June 29. Shannon and Lim said they hope to develop a joint response through sanctions and dialogue to North Korea’s recent provocations and stressed their commitment to the US-South Korea alliance.
