In comparison with the current Labor Code, the revised Labor Code regulates retirement ages that are suitable with the practicalities, on the minimum salary, maternity leave, overtime and maximum working hours. According to the Code, women can now enjoy six months maternity leave and those who give birth to more than one child will have one extra month for each child. The Law on Tertiary Education addressed many burning issues on reforming tertiary education in the country to improve the quality of training for the country’s work force. The new Law regulates 4 major issues: university rankings, improving access to education, the right of tertiary education organizations to separate self-control, and monitoring the quality of training. The Law on Tobacco Harm and Prevention now regulates all activities including the production, trading, exporting, importing, stocking, and transportation of counterfeit tobacco and tobacco materials, as well as advertising tobacco directly to consumers.
