(VOVworld) – An art program was held in Hanoi on Saturday to honor military agencies, localities and businesses who supported fishermen in their production, contributing to the defense of national maritime sovereignty. President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan attended the event. The program praised the sacrifices of the soldiers who defend national sovereignty and help fishermen in distress at sea and courageous fishermen who help to defend national sovereignty. It also encouraged businesses, kind-hearted individuals and social organizations to donate to support fishermen.
