Tensions escalate over Skripal nerve agent attack
(VOVWORLD) - Russia's representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), Alexander Shulgin, once again dismissed British claims on the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter, throwing the accusation of lies straight back at the UK.
In his statement at an extraordinary meeting of the OPCW to discuss the Salisbury poisoning on Wednesday, Shulgin said the UK is sabotaging every attempt to conduct a truly objective investigation into the incident in Salisbury with the participation of Russian experts.
