The agency said North Korean military officers were sent to the border to respond, if South Korea’s propaganda loudspeakers do not stop within 48 hours.
Earlier, North Korea’s army fired shells at South Korea’s propaganda loudspeakers west of the Demilitarized Zone. South Korea fired several shells in retaliation. During a meeting with his National Security Council, South Korea’s President Park Geun-hye ordered South Korea’s army to retaliate against any action by the North and to stay ready for action.
