(VOVworld) - Garment and textiles is Vietnam’s major export item with turnover reaching more than 3.2 billion USD, an increase of 15.4% against the same period last year. The General Statistics Office says so far this year apparel exports to traditional markets maintain stable growth. By the end of February, the US remained Vietnam’s main importer of garment and textiles, followed by the European Union. Experts suggest that businesses seek opportunities in new markets such as the Republic of Korea, New Zealand, India and Russia.
