Tourism and cultural activities highlighted at Bac Ha festival
(VOVWORLD) - The annual Bac Ha White Plateau Festival will begin in Bac Ha and neighbouring districts in the northern province of Lao Cai on Saturday.

The highlights of the week-long festival include a traditional horse race, a plum flower festival, a night market, and an investment promotion conference.
The horse race will kick off at 7:30am on Sunday at the Bac Ha stadium.
There are also art programs introducing folklore music and dances of ethnic groups from Bac Ha and the neighbouring mountainous districts.
The festival is expected to welcome 60,000 visitors.
