In a 75-minute speech to supporters, former President Trump made a greater commitment to tackling inflation, boosting energy production, and raising the standard of living for Americans.

He vowed to roll back Biden-era restrictions on fossil fuel production, instruct Cabinet members to use "every tool" to "defeat inflation" within the first year of a second term, and end all taxes on Social Security benefits and income classified as tips.

In addition to economic issues, Trump also spent much time on highlighting the differences with the Democratic Party in regard of familiar issues such as the US-Mexico border.
