Truong Sa museum to be built in Khanh Hoa province

(VOVWORLD) - The Khanh Hoa Architect Association has launched a contest on the design of Truong Sa museum which is expected to be built in October.

The museum will cover 2.5 ha and have indoor and outdoor exhibits and a venue for experience activities focusing on the history of safeguarding national sovereignty.

Nguyen Van Thien, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Khanh Hoa province, said: "Truong Sa museum will be built on the Cam Ranh peninsula, Khanh Hoa province. The construction of the museum is part of activities to celebrate Khanh Hoa province’s 370th founding anniversary. The Architect Association is finalizing dossiers for the building of the museum and its displays."

The Truong Sa museum will be connected with the Gac Ma soldiers memorial site to serve as a cultural and spiritual tourist destination.
