The massive database—purportedly containing the names, identity numbers, and addresses of those listed—was posted online by hackers earlier this week along with sharp jabs at Ankara’s leadership.
It’s said to be the largest public data breach ever seen in Turkey. The hackers highlighted information concerning President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, his predecessor Abdullah Gul, and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
