Two Vietnamese universities among world’s top 1,000
(VOVWORLD) -Two Vietnamese universities have remained in the top 1,000 universities in the world, according to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2019.
Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam National University, Hanoi appear in this year’s rankings for the second time. The ranking published Wednesday shows Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City is in the group of universities ranked 701st to 750th, while Vietnam National University, Hanoi is in the 801st to 1,000th group. The QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by London-based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). It is based on 6 criteria: Academic peer review (40%), Student ratio (20%), Citations per faculty (20%), Employer reputation (10%), International student ratio (5%), and International staff ratio (5%). This year, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City’s Academic Peer Review index jumps 70 places to 427.
