Conflicts have left many people dead and injured

(VOVworld) – The Ukrainian parliament held a closed-door meeting on Tuesday to discuss tensions in the East and South. Chairman of the Ukrainian parliament Alexander Turchinov said the anti-terrorist military campaign would maintain its operation, in which 7 military units have been deployed to the eastern region. He added that the campaign was facing difficulties as locals support federalization. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry said the conflicts between the army and federal supporters in Slavyansk on Monday killed 2 soldiers and injured 7 others. Meanwhile, representatives of the military in Slavyansk said the conflicts have left 3 dead and more than 30 injured.
