UN ready to accompany Vietnam's development aspirations

Academy Director Doan Minh Huan emphasized international cooperation as a bridge for strategic knowledge, supporting leadership training, research and policy consultation.

He reaffirmed the Academy’s commitment to promoting practical, effective and focused international cooperation, strengthening academic diplomacy, enhancing Vietnam's international standing, and prioritizing theoretical exchanges and senior leadership training with communist and ruling parties as a key pillar of Party diplomacy in the new era.

UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam Pauline Tamesis praised Vietnam's people-centered development vision, strong governance reforms, and clear orientation toward innovation, digital transformation and green transition.

She affirmed that the United Nations stands ready to accompany Vietnam's aspirations by investing in people through education, skills, healthcare and social inclusion, especially for women, youth and ethnic minorities; leveraging innovation and digital transformation for inclusive and sustainable development; accelerating a just green transition while protecting vulnerable groups and expanding clean energy; and promoting effective governance and support for Vietnam's human rights commitments.
