(VOVworld) - Shortly after arriving in Qingdao China, on Monday, US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel boarded China’s only aircraft carrier, the Liaoning, for a two-hour visit. The event came at the start of Hagel’s three-day visit, his first visit to China as the US Defense Secretary. At a press conference in Tokyo, on Sunday, Hagel urged Beijing to show more transparency and respect for neighbors’ territorial sovereignty.
