Viet Nam—South Korea youth cooperation project signed

(VOVworld)-The Korean International Exchange Fund and Viet Nam's Ministry of Home Affairs just signed a Memorandum of Understanding aiming to select 600 educated Vietnamese young people to work as local leaders in 62 poor districts. The project aims to encourage strategic co-operation between Vietnam and South Korea and expand exchanges between youth of the two nations. The 600 young people, who will work as vice chair of Communal People's Committees, will be selected on the basis of their college degrees and qualifications compared with their peers. The program’s goal is to provide training and improve government management capacity through the project members.
