(VOVWORLD) - The Vietfood & Beverage – Propack, a reputable exhibition in the field of food, beverage, and processing and packaging equipment and technologies, kicked off in Hanoi on Wednesday.

The international exhibition drew the participation of 250 enterprises from 10 countries and territories globally, while simultaneously introducing more than 5,000 brands and products in the F&B and ProPack industries.
This marks the first exhibition held in the industry to be certified according to the standards set by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI).
On display across 300 booths were a diverse range of products, including food, beverage, nutritional and supplement food, raw materials, along with machinery and equipment for food production - packaging – preservation.
International businesses from several countries, including Japan, Sweden, the Republic of Korea, India, and Poland, have used the event as a platform to showcase some of their typical products. This includes apricot wine and fruit wine of Choya company of Japan, red ginseng of Hansamjang company of the Republic of Korea, buffalo meat products from Allanasons, Frozen Foods, Rustam Foods, and Al-sameer of India.
The exhibition, organized by the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad) is scheduled to run to Saturday.
