(VOVworld)- The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs says Vietnam aims to export 100,000 workers in 2016. This year the Ministry will continue to expand the labor market, especially high-income and safe markets.

The Ministry will also adjust mechanisms to boost labor exports, improve the capacity of labor exporting companies, reform recruitment mechanism, and strengthen training for workers before sending them abroad. Tong Hai Nam is Deputy Director of the Overseas Labor Management Department of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs: “The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs have worked with relevant agencies to implement multiple measures to expand the labor market. We have also worked with other countries to expand the sectors that can recruit Vietnamese workers. We aim to expand our markets in Taiwan (China), Japan, Malaysia, and some Middle-Eastern countries”.

In 2015 Vietnam exported 115,000 workers, up 112% against the yearly target.
