(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, the Jet Airliner Crash Data Evaluation Centre (JACDEC) in Germany listed Vietnam’s national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, among the top 60 safest airlines in the world. The JACDEC’s evaluation is based on the calculations which include the airlines’ transport service and the number of accidents and incidents in the last 30 years of operation. The centre also calculates the accidental cases which probably take place in a twinkling or other risky situations. Vietnam Airlines was listed in the JACDEC’s annual Airline Safety Ranking thanks to its safety, stability, and efficiency in flight operations. Besides, the airline was appreciated for shifting to new aircraft generations such as 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A350-900XWB. This year, the top five safety airlines came from the Asian and Arabian regions, namely Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong (China), Emirates from Dubai, Eva Air from Taiwan (China), Qatar Airways from Qatar, and the Chinese Hainan Airlines.
