(VOVworld) - A Vietnamese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Anh Tuan took part in the 2013 Asia Cultural Cooperation Forum (ACCF 2013) in Hong Kong, China on Thursday.

Deputy Minister Tuan underscored the importance of culture and literature in the history of man, noting that it is an inner strength of sustainable development.

He added that Vietnam has adopted policies to encourage the creativity of writers and artists and protect their work and intellectual property. Vietnam believes cultural cooperation in Asia for sustainable development in the context of globalisation needs more practical multilateral interactions and dialogues.

Forum participants proposed cultural exchanges and cooperation within the region, agreeing that the forum is a bridge linking regional cultures, helping them show off their identities and reinforce solidarity.
