The world's largest exporter was Madagascar. Vietnam is followed by China, Thailand and South Africa.

The quality of Vietnam's lychees is much better than similar products from India and China, an ISHS representative told an international conference on longan and lychee in Hanoi late last week. Vietnamese lychees are available in many countries, including China, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia and the UK.
