Vietnam, Belarus hold political consultations
(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Belarus held political consultations at the deputy foreign ministerial level in Hanoi on Tuesday.
The two sides agreed to increase visit exchanges and mutual understanding, boost multifaceted cooperation, and improve the performance of the intergovernmental committee on cooperation in economics, trade, science, and technology. They also discussed a number of regional and global issues, including the situation in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the East Sea. Vietnam and Belarus agreed that disputes should be resolved via peaceful means and in line with international law, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and that the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea should be fully implemented towards adopting a Code of Conduct in the East Sea.
