Provinces and cities from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa were informing fishing vessels to evacuate the danger zone. Border guards and maritime forces are on standby and ready for rescue operations. Local authorities and residents of the Spratly Islands continue to reinforce houses. 50 vessels and hundreds of fishermen from Central Vietnam have been brought to shelters where soldiers and residents have provided them water and food. Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Vu Van Cuong, the Commanding Officer of Song Tu Tay Island told VOVToday, wind and waves have become stronger and bigger. We have arranged boat moorings for the vessels and prepared lifeboats.  So far we’ve been able to ensure the safety of all ships and personnel.
