(VOVworld) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on Wednesday received in Hanoi a delegation of China’s Communist Party led by Liu Yun Shan, Poliburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communications. Party leader Trong expressed his belief in Vietnam’s successful hosting of the 8th theoretical workshop between the two parties on reforming economic model in Vietnam and shifting mode of economic development in China. Mr. Trong spoke highly of the outcomes of these workshops, saying the exchange of information and experiences between both sides are necessary and significant for the development of the two parties. He reiterated Vietnam’s unswerving policy of boosting its comprehensive cooperative strategic partnership with China.

For his part, Mr. Liu Yun Shan said the Chinese party and government value the relationship with Vietnam to strengthen the party’s leadership and socialism construction in each country. He added  that China consistently works with Vietnam to settle satisfactorily pending issues between the two countries. The Chinese leader expressed his belief in future cooperation between the two parties’ communications commissions, contributing  to the relationship between China and Vietnam.

Earlier, Dinh The Huynh, Party Politburo member and  Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education held talks with the Chinese delegation. Both sides signed an agreement on cooperative and exchange mechanism between the two agencies. The document will help deepen the cooperative ties between the two parties and peoples.
