Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi on Thursday, Hang said Vietnam is ready to engage in constructive and cooperative discussions with the US to exchange information, enhance mutual understanding, and resolve any obstacles to foster a stable and sustainable economic partnership that benefits both nations.

Responding to reporters’ questions about the US’s continued efforts in addressing war consequences in Vietnam, Spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said this cooperation serves as a fundamental pillar of Vietnam-US relations and has significantly contributed to reconciliation and trust-building between the two countries, paving the way for bilateral cooperation in various fields.
