With a GDP growth rate of around 8% in 2025 plus robust industrial output and retail sales, trade and foreign investment, the indicators clearly show Vietnam's strong growth, she said.

In terms of diplomacy, Ms. Campbell added Vietnam continues to develop its "multilateralization and diversification of foreign relations" approach, and recent developments proved this to be a sound strategy. Vietnam's diplomatic and economic efforts have helped improve export competitiveness, infrastructure and logistics, indicating its ability to attract global corporations and diplomatic flexibility.

Commenting on the priorities set at the 14th National Party Congress, Ms. Campbell stated that the Congress will set goals for the next five years and built a long-term roadmap beyond 2030. Vietnam's focus on sustainable growth, "neither fragile nor too rapid," is logical, she said, calling on Vietnam to continue focusing on improving value chains, considering aspects of productivity and industrial upgrading; and developing the private sector.
