(VOVworld) - Vietnam Foreign Ministry has sent a diplomatic note to the Australian Ambassador in Hanoi opposing a censorship order by the Australian Supreme Court in Victoria State as reported by Wikileaks on Thursday.
According to the diplomatic note, Vietnam strongly denounced the court’s censorship order which lists names of several senior foreign leaders, including those from Vietnam. This harms personal dignity of Vietnamese leaders and Vietnam’s image. Vietnam demands a serious explanation of the order and report the case openly for public access to the truth. The Australian embassy in Hanoi has received the note, saying that the Australian government will review the case seriously.
