Vietnam President sends message of solidarity with Palestinians
(VOVWORLD) -President Luong Cuong on Saturday reiterated the State and people of Vietnam’s strong support for and solidarity with Palestine in its just struggle for independence and freedom, especially in the context of the complicated security situation and potential risks when a Gaza ceasefire deal was signed in October 2025.

The Vietnamese leader made the statement in a message sent to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, President of the United Nations General Assembly Annalena Baerbock, Chairman of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People Coly Seck, and President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas on the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (November 29).
In the message, President Cuong extended his deep condolences to the Palestinian people for the great losses and pain in the conflict over the past two years, which has killed tens of thousands of people, injured hundreds of thousands of others and caused serious devastation in the Gaza Strip.
