(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, a program to promote gender equality in Vietnam took place in Hanoi. The program was co-organized by UN Women, the Vietnam Youth Federation, and the National Volunteer Center.

Shoko Ishikawa, UN Women’s Chief Representative in Vietnam, stressed that men must join the effort to promote gender equality. Nguyen Phi Long, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation, called on the community to work together to build a better future where young men and women, and boys and girls can fully develop and contribute to an equal, sustainable society.
