Vietnam records 7,504 more cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours

(VOVWORLD) - From 4pm on Thursday to 4pm on Friday, Vietnam recorded 7,504 new infections, of which 17 were imported and 7,487 were locally-transmitted, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.

In 24 hours, 1,941 cases recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 837,347.

Vietnam has so far recorded 953,547 infections, ranking 40 out of 223 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranks 151 out of 223 countries and territories territory (9,680 cases on average for every 1 million people).
