(VOVWORLD) - A jogging campaign called "A Million Steps of Kindness" has ended with impressive results, exceeding its targets, the Vietnam Red Cross Society said Sunday.

The campaign was part of a series of activities in response to the Humanitarian Month 2024.
The campaign’s target was to get 70,000 people to walk or jog 700,000 kilometers to raise 300,000 USD.
For 56 days, the campaign went through Vietnam’s 63 provinces and cities, ultimately attracting 30% more people than the target and raising twice the target amount.
