Vietnam reports 5 imported cases of COVID-19

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam confirmed an additional five imported cases of COVID-19, all from India, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.

The new infections are experts working at Sethia Hemraj Rice Oil Company Limited. 

Friday marks the 37th straight day without COVID-19 cases of local transmission in the nation. 

Of the total 1,105 case, 691 contracted the novel coronavirus locally, with 551 recorded since July 25, when the new outbreak began.

On Friday, one coronavirus patient was released from hospital after making a full recovery, boosting the overall number of recoveries to 1,024, while 35 have died.
