Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung on Tuesday signed Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation with the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Commission.

The signing ceremony took place on Tuesday within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Korea by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue this week.

The two sides agreed to expand cooperation activities on telecommunications infrastructure development, digital transformation, and information safety and security, and organize programs to connect digital technology businesses of the two countries.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Korea Communications Commission serves as an important basis for the two sides to strengthen cooperation and exchange information on policies, regulations and management measures of electronic information and social networks, in order to ensure a healthy network environment.

They will also strengthen support for radio and television stations to cooperate in program content production, professional exchange, and training activities.
