The discussion, which reviewed the accessibility and user-friendliness of provincial e-service portals across Vietnam, also suggested that the portals be interconnected, protect personal information, and ensure users’ rights. In particular, people with disabilities should be invited to assess e-public services.

“The Government needs to focus on improving the 25 most essential e-public services and users’ experience. This will aid Vietnam’s efforts to enter the United Nation’s list of 50 leading countries in terms of e-government by 2025,” said Nguyen Minh Hong, President of the Vietnam Data Communications Association.
