Vietnam shares finance experience at APEC meeting
(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong shared Vietnam's experience in developing fiscal policies to support households, its vision of prioritizing investment and human development, raising household incomes, and creating new growth drivers for rapid and sustainable economic growth in the long term.

Deputy Minister Phuong was speaking at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Finance and Central Bank Deputies' Meeting held on Wednesday and Thursday in Shanghai, China, the host country of APEC 2026. He also highlighted Vietnam's macroeconomic achievements in 2025 and updated targets for 2026 and the 2026-2030 period.
During APEC 2026 themed "Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together," China has identified four major priorities for the APEC Finance Ministers' Process, including fiscal policies to support households; financial development for digital infrastructure; expanding opportunities and access to finance for all; and promoting dialogue with young financial talents.
