Both agreed that Vietnam and Ukraine are ready to continue enhancing their partnership and comprehensive cooperation and step up trade, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges. Both leaders committed to creating favorable conditions for business partnerships in fields that match Ukraine’s strength and Vietnam’s demand such as energy, agriculture, and health care.

The two agreed to continue consultations between their ministries on the basis of the consultation plan until 2019. They vowed closely coordinate at international forums like the UN. Ukraine reiterated its support for Vietnam’s candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for 2020-2021.
