Vietnam, US exchange 1.1 billion USD cooperation deal in avionics and aviation technical services

(VOVWORLD) - Vietjet and US-based Honeywell Aerospace Technologies have exchanged a cooperation agreement worth 1.1 billion USD to provide avionics and aviation technical services for the Vietnamese budget carrier’s modern and fuel-efficient fleet.

The event took place in the presence of Vietnam’s Party General Secretary and State President To Lam during his working visit to the US.

The agreement marks a significant step in long-standing partnership between the Vietjet and Honeywell.

Vietjet CEO Dinh Viet Phuong said that Honeywell's advanced technology will play a crucial role in helping Vietjet better serve its valued passengers with convenient, high-quality, safe, and eco-friendly flights while fostering sustainability in line with the airlines’ Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.
