(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese national men's football team secured a 1-0 victory over Indonesia on Sunday evening in their second Group B match at the 2024 Southeast Asia Football Championship (ASEAN Cup).

Vietnam previously defeated Laos 4-1 in their opening match on December 9. With two wins, Vietnam now sits at the top of Group B with 6 points, while Indonesia is in second place with 4 points after three matches. This victory marks the end of Vietnam’s three-match losing streak against Indonesia earlier this year.
