(VOVworld) – Vietnamese archers won 8 gold medals at the 5th Southeast Asian Open Archery Championship in Myanmar, which gathered 60 competitors from Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

Bui Truong Giang, head of the Archery Division of the General Department of Sports and Physical Education, said the championship is part of Vietnam’s preparations for other 2016 international events and qualifying for the 2016 Olympics.
