Vietnamese architect Nguyen Ha shortlisted for Moira Gemmill Prize

(VOVWORLD)-Nguyen Ha, a pioneering Vietnamese architect and founder of ARB Architects, has made history by being selected among the top 4 contenders for the prestigious Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture 2024.

The Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture shines a spotlight on talented architects under the age of 45 who lead their profession with innovative and tactical approaches to design.

This year’s shortlist is particularly diverse, featuring architects from France, Lebanon, Vietnam, and Brazil.

Ha was honored thanks to her range of unique works, including Dao Mau museum. The museum is devoted to Dao Mau, the worship of mother goddesses which was established in Vietnam back in the 16th century before being declared a UNESCO-listed religion in 2016.

The Award results will be announced on Thursday, March 7, at the Canadian Center for Architecture (CCA) in Montreal.
