(VOVworld) - Researchers at a workshop on Vietnamese economic prospect held by the Ministry of Investment and Planning on Thursday predicted signs of recovery next year.
The Ministry’s Socio-Economic Forecast Center predicts a single digit inflation over the next two years while the corporate sector will benefit from a corporate income tax reduction from 25% to 22%.
World Bank Vietnam economist Doan Hong Quang said a low lending rate of 10% to 13% would spur business expansion:“Most international organizations believe that Vietnam will enjoy a brighter economic prospect next year thanks to a stabilized macro economy, higher purchasing index and newly established businesses. However, the national economic recovery still depends largely on the world economic climate.”
