(VOVworld) – The film “Water 2030” (Nuoc 2013) by Vietnamese director Nguyen Vo Nghiem Minh opened the Panorama selection at the Berlin International Film Festival 2014.

Speaking at a press briefing prior to the screening, director Minh said being a curtain raiser of the Panorama selection was a great honor, which made international audiences more aware of Vietnamese cinema. The film presents the audience with a different view of the effects of global climate change.
