(VOVWORLD) - The Consulate General of Vietnam in Chongqing hosted the “Homeland Spring 2026” program, attended by more than 200 representatives of the Vietnamese community living, studying, and working in Chongqing and Sichuan province, China.

At the gathering, Consul General Bui Nguyen Long reaffirmed the Consulate’s close attention to the lives of overseas Vietnamese, students, and Vietnamese businesses in the region.
He encouraged the community to continue upholding unity, supporting one another, integrating successfully into local society, preserving national cultural identity, and contributing to Vietnam’s development while serving as a bridge for friendly and comprehensive Vietnam–China relations.
The program featured traditional Vietnamese dishes along with áo dài (Vietnamese traditional long dress) performances and cultural shows featuring Vietnamese identity.
