The fair, running until Friday at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre, Krasnogorsk, brings together 1,100 businesses and exhibitors from 40 countries and is expected to draw 20,000 visitors from at least 72 countries. 50 Vietnamese exhibitors are participating in the event.

"Our participation is different this year. At previous fairs we aimed at businesses, but this time we brought consumption products including dried foods and grain products. Russia is a big market. Our booth this year is evidence that we’ve officially entered the Russian market. We hope to have a factory in Russia in the near future," said Nguyen Manh Hung, General Director of NASFOODS Group.

The Trade Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade has organized a Trade Exchange Program between 30 Vietnamese and many Russian enterprises to encourage them to establish business relationships and sign contracts.
