Vietnamese ambassador Thai Xuan Dung sent his New Year’s greeting to the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic. He stressed that Vietnam has seen vigorous development with economic growth reaching 8.02%, the record high rate in the past 11 years thanks to the solidarity and determination of the Party and all Vietnamese people, including overseas Vietnamese.

Vietnam’s total import and export turnover in 2022 reached 732 billion USD, while its disbursement of Foreign Direct Investment was estimated at 22.5 billion USD. Vietnam is among top 10 recipients of overseas remittances. In 2022, overseas remittances to Vietnam hit more than 12 billion USD.
