(VOVWORLD) - Viettel High Tech has signed a contract worth over one million USD with High Cloud Technologies of the UAE to provide a 5G system in the Middle East.

The signing ceremony took place at the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition in Hanoi on Sunday.
Under the agreement, Viettel High Tech will provide 4G and 5G stations using Non-Standalone (NSA) technology to High Cloud Technologies. This will be Viettel’s biggest telecommunication project in the Middle East.
A representative of the UAE said that Viettel's products are highly appreciated for their quality and competitive prices compared to other suppliers. Its system will help expand telecommunications coverage in the UAE and other areas in the Middle East, especially in suburban and rural areas.
