Voice of Vietnam Award 2022 announced

(VOVWORLD) - A ceremony to present VOV Awards for outstanding journalistic works was held in Hanoi on Tuesday as part of activities to mark  the Voice of Vietnam’s 77th founding anniversary.

In his address, VOV President Do Tien Sy said the award is to inspire emulation spirit and stimulate creativity among VOV reporters, editors, technicians, artists, broadcasters, and employees.

In the digital transformation period, Mr. Sy said VOV has brought into full play of its advantages and creativity proving itself to be a quick and borderless information channel.

“Digital transformation is not only a transformation in technology, but also a transformation in thinking, from management to the production and distribution of press products. It is a breakthrough solution which will ensure the survival and development of press agencies like the Voice of Vietnam,” said the VOV President.

He noted, “The Voice of Vietnam Awards will continue to honor journalistic works of exceptional quality in both content and social effects. In 2023 the Voice of Vietnam Awards will be renamed “the Voice of Vietnam Awards – September Star.”

The organizing committee presented five A awards, nine B awards, and 11 C awards.
