VOV and Hai Phong City to cooperate in communication promotion

(VOVWORLD) -The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and Hai Phong City People's Committee on Friday signed a communication cooperation agreement for the next three years.

At the signing ceremony in Hai Phong, VOV President Do Tien Sy said VOV currently is operating in all four types of press: radio, TV, print, and online. Its programs are broadcast on eight national radio channels and 17 television channels and posted on two electronic newspapers and one printed newspaper.

Programs are produced, broadcast or published in 13 national languages and 13 foreign languages. Mr. Sy described this as the basis for VOV to promote Hai Phong’s potential, strengths, economy, culture, and society, as well as the image of Hai Phong people.

“This cooperation will enable a continuation of previous successes. For a major press agency like the Voice of Vietnam, after signing an agreement with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City, there will be more specific and deeper highlights. We will go in the direction, which is “The past Hai Phong was steadfast, heroic and creative; the present is dynamic and affectionate; the future is the development of the country and the region,” he said.
