Under the deal signed by VOV President Do Tien Si and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Giang Pao My, VOV will increase promotion of Lai Chau on its communications channels with particular focus on Party building, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, and raising people's awareness. Much attention will also be given to training and improving the professional qualifications of Lai Chau's reporters.

Lai Chau representatives said they hope that in 2024 VOV will increase its coverage of major events in the locality, such as Lai Chau’s 115th founding anniversary, 75 years of the establishment of the provincial Party Committee, and 20 years of the re-establishment of Lai Chau province.
