World pays tribute to former President Nelson Mandela

(VOVworld)-Cuban President Raul Castro sent a message of condolences to South African Head of State Jacob Zuma for the death of Nelson Mandela. In his message, Raul Castro says that with deep sorrow he conveys his heart-felt condolences for the passing away of Nelson Mandela, on behalf of the people and government of Cuba. The Cuban President also extended his sympathies to Mandela’s relatives, the African National Congress and all South Africa.

Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has declared three days of national mourning for the death of South African anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela. Ortega said in a letter addressed to the National African Congress and South African President Jacob Zuma that the world says goodbye to a great man, a myth, a legend, and a patrimony of Africa and of humanity.  
Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff will travel to South Africa to attend the funeral of late leader Nelson Mandela next week. Her government also decreed seven days of national mourning in honor of Mandela, who passed away at his home in Johannesburg on Thursday at the age of 95.
Leaders of Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Haiti, Mexico, Ireland, Tunisia, South Korea, Israel, and United Arab Emirates also praised the legendary of Nelson Mandela, and expressed their deep sorrow to his death.
